The start date depends on the policy and insurer. Coverage begins only after the insurer confirms approval and the effective date; some plans also require the first premium. We will confirm the start date before you cancel any existing policy.

What should I do after an accident?
Check for injuries, call 911 if needed, and move to safety if you can. Exchange names, contact and insurance information; note witnesses and take photos if it is safe. Report the crash to your insurer promptly and follow its instructions. Do not admit fault at the scene. Contact us if you need help understanding your policy.
